SHORELINE SECOND STORY ADDITION & HOME REMODEL

This 1960s home was transformed to better reflect the clients' modern lifestyle and design aspirations. The original layout, with its small, dark, and closed-off spaces, no longer aligned with their vision for a bright and open living environment. By redesigning the main level, we improved the flow between the kitchen and living room, enhanced by a raised ceiling with exposed beams and car decking, clerestory windows, and custom Kerf cabinetry paired with quartz countertops. The addition of a custom walnut mantel and Clayhaus tile backsplash further elevates the space's unique character.

To extend functionality and comfort, we converted the existing bedrooms into a luxurious primary suite and added a new lower-floor guest suite. On the exterior, a spacious deck with cable railing provides a perfect entertaining space, blending the home’s interior with its beautiful backyard. Thoughtful design elements, such as an integrated solar array, ensure the home is as sustainable as it is stylish. As the general contractor, we collaborated closely with Fivedot Architects to bring our clients’ vision to life, creating a revitalized home remodel that is bright, functional, and welcoming.
